Sandile B Cele has been cultivating his unique and distinctive style since obtaining his degree in Fine Arts and specialising in ceramics at the Natal Technikon in 2000 (now the Durban University of Technology), where he studied under Hennie Stroebel. After graduating, he shared and perfected his skills by working with Arts Aid to help young and emerging artists develop a range of interdisciplinary skills. From 2005 to 2016, Sandile worked with internationally renowned ceramicist Clementina Van Der Walt, assisting in her studio and further developing his skills and expertise.
