APPLICATIONS
APPLICATIONS OPEN on Instagram and Facebook Sunday 1 March 2026.
APPLICATIONS CLOSE Wednesday 1 April 2026 midnight.
Notification of acceptance and invitation to join OSFHC 2026 will be emailed mid to end of April 2026.
- Defined by the mapped boundary lines of FISH HOEK and CLOVELLY.
- Must be engaged in a sustained and creative art practice.
- Applicants must demonstrate an active and evolving studio practice.
- Applicants must have a permanent studio space in the area or home work space.
- Open to artists and makers who create unique, handmade works within the creative arts, with a distinctive recognizable voice.
- Individual artists in the area may apply.
- No teaching institutions.
COST
Non-refundable application fee of R200: on receipt of yoco payment link.
R2300 per applicant, if accepted, payable by the 30 April 2026.

SELECTION PROCESS
A selection committee consisting of practising artists, curators and moderators will review:
- All criteria must be met for consideration.
- Work should resonate within the vision and mandate of OSFHC.
IF SELECTED YOU WILL NEED TO
- Produce a new contemporary portfolio of work created during the year to exhibit at OSFHC 2026.
- Submit work as a considered, curated selection to reflect your current artistic practice.
- Attend OSFHC general meetings and become involved.
- Post on your Instagram and/or Facebook accounts regularly, particularly leading up to the event.
- Open your studio/venue from 10am to 4pm on Fri 9 th / Sat 10 th / Sun 11 th Oct 2026.
The selection committee’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
