Jasper Wolfeman | Fish Hoek – Cape Town | Painter and Floral Design

Jasper Wolfeman (b. 1998) is an American artist based in Cape Town, working across painting and floral design.

During their early twenties, Jasper lived in Germany, where they worked with local nonprofit organisations focused on community involvement in the arts. This experience encouraged an ongoing exploration of different cultures, creative practices and media.

After developing a deep interest in flowers and oil painting, Jasper became involved in establishing a floral concept studio in Cape Town. They later found a creative home at Mothership Studios in Fish Hoek.

Jasper’s work explores themes of queer softness, strength and intimacy through gentle mark-making, oil and acrylic painting, and sculptural floral arrangements.

They have exhibited locally and internationally, with recent and upcoming exhibitions including As Human As A Woman at Ink Box Gallery in 2026, Landing Light and Harmony at ArtKlub Woodstock in 2025, and Echoes of the Unwritten and Embodied Homes at The Commons in 2024.

Earlier exhibitions include Local at Noordhoek Art Point in 2023, Open Studios at ONE Collective Residency in Barcelona in 2022, Momentum at The Holy Art Gallery in 2021, Young Arts at DADA Gallery in Dallas in 2017, and Young Masters at the Dallas Museum of Art in 2017.
