Dudri du Preez | Fish Hoek – Cape Town | Mixed Media Artist

Dudri du Preez is an artist, educator, mother and nature guide whose work is rooted in connection - to self, to creativity and to the natural world.

Her practice moves between realism and abstraction. Through detailed watercolour studies of lichen, she explores the quiet, intricate beauty of nature. In contrast, her abstract acrylic works reflect movement, emotion and lived experience.

Some of these pieces were created while travelling between New Zealand and South Africa and carry the energy of transition, change and homecoming.

Working with acrylic, watercolour and ink, often in conjunction with natural and foraged materials, Dudri’s practice reflects an ongoing interest in nature, belonging and the relationship between inner and outer landscapes.
