Candice Oppenheim is an abstract artist based at Mothership Studios in Fish Hoek.

Inspired by nature as a place of healing and restoration, Candice creates work that explores the emotional experience of landscape rather than depicting it literally. Her background in fashion design informs her instinctive approach to colour, balance and composition, allowing each painting to emerge through a process of exploration and response.

Her work seeks to capture moments of stillness, curiosity and connection, inviting the viewer to pause and reflect.

Alongside her painting practice, Candice has built a community-centred creative practice through teaching and shared artistic experiences. She is passionate about creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and with others.
